Co-organised with Hong Kong Design Centre and Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks, HKTDC Inno Design Tech Expo (IDT Expo) has been a leading trade platform for design and technology companies to promote their professional consultancy services and creative ideas, and network with potential business partners. The Expo will feature the "Trade Hall" and the "Inspiration Hall." Thematic pavilions are:

Inspiration Hall
This is a place for trade and public visitors to closely interact with design and creativity through an exhibition of creative products, renowned brands and award-winning design and commercial projects. This year, the Inspiration Hall will feature an extensive collection of works by designers and organisations from Hong Kong, Germany as well as Partner Country, Japan.

Education Corner 2010
Education Corner, a concurrent event of Business of Design Week 2010. A series of Creative Workshops aimed at increasing student interest and participation in design and creativity.

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, School of Design (SD, HKPU) and the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI) have teamed up to give Form 3 and above students from Hong Kong schools an experience of what it is like to become the creator of new products, environments and visual communications. During the workshop, students will be given the opportunity to explore their design and creative talents. Completed works will be exhibited at the exhibition hall.

To enhance the students' creative experience, there is a guided tour of design, brand and innovation exhibited at Inspiration Hall.
