From an early age, Taiwan-born designer Jung-liang Chen knew design would play an intrinsic part in his life. Likening design to something as natural and instinctive as breathing, Chen’s believes “the attitude to design is an attitude to life”. Known for his impassioned design solutions for a broad range of clients from industry, government and private institutions, his extensive work attains relevance from a profound vision to cross the boundaries dividing innovation from convention, possibility from limitation.

In 1993, Chen established Freeimage Design as a small but resourceful consultancy, specializing in visual image design, corporate identity planning, company catalogues, packaging design, compilation of books and magazines, advertising, printing, paper products development, supplies planning, and comprehensive graphic design. Through an interactive understanding of collective operations, Freeimage is structured for growth and reconstruction programmes and continually sets benchmarks in design, operation and administration.
