Lee Chi-wing a native of Hong Kong, completed his BA of Industrial Design in 1989 from the Polytechnic University Hong Kong. In 1992, he completed his MA from the Ecole Nationale Superieure de Creation Industrielle in Paris.

He won a First Prize award in Habitat European Design Competition on the Domestic Workstation Category.

From 1992 to 1994, he worked in Paris handling various projects in the furniture design for Habitat, the bottle design for different French cosmetic companies.

Back to Hong Kong in 1995, he joined Philips Design HK and became one of the main designers for the telecommunication department.

In 1998, he set up Milk design, and starts his design consulting and advisory firm.

In 2002, he co-founded Feel good home, a brand concept from Hong Kong to carry and demonstrate the thinking that design, objects connects more with living, people and their emotion.

In 2007, Milk design has completed and launched a new design of inflight economy class tableware for Cathay Pacific Airways with an aim to showcase Hong Kong culture and beauty of the modern Asia.

In 2010, Milk design has participated in the local culture and design exhibition “Get lively with Home Design” through a group of rework on abandoned furniture. The works aim to demonstrate the re-thinking, re-organisation and repairing process for a new object.

Milk design has received different design awards including the HKDA Asia Design Awards 09 Silver and Bronze Awards. Design for Asia Award 2008 Bronze Award. Seleccionada para a 7a Bienal de Design de Macau 2008 Judges’s Award and Silver Award. The HKDA Design Awards 07 Show Bronze Award. HKDA Design Awards 05 Merit Award. The HKDA Design Awards 02 Gold Award and Judges’ Award. Creative Force Award 2001 by City Magazine, Hong Kong.
