A practical understanding that merges fashion and business has guided Richard Li’s in his quest to provide market-oriented product branding, with clear and credible solutions. Core to his tenet is the belief that as a driver of emotional motivation, design will be vital in identifying and differentiating a product.
A committee member of the Hong Kong Fashion Designers’ Association, Li graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1989, with Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design.
Li is actively involved in presenting his fashion collections, as well as attending seminars and symposiums throughout Hong Kong, China Mainland, Europe and Japan.
He has launched his crossover project with Giordano Group “Concept1One X Transphorm” in fall winter 2010. Transphorm is a new concept created by Li for which a bag can be converted into a jacket and vice versa. This creation has been patented by Li in China, Japan, Europe and USA.
While Li is considered a creative, innovative designer with years of experience in fashion and design, he remains fully appreciative about the need for flexibility and commitment in order for businesses to grow and attain their targets.
